Trione to buy back full ownership of Geyser Peak

Article Abstract:

Trione had purchased Sonoma County, CA, Geyser Peak Winery in 1982 and created a joint venture winery with Penfolds Wines of Australia in 1989. Geyser Peak's wines improved under a new winemaker. Penfolds decided to get out of the winemaking business, and Trione will re-purchase the winery entirely.

Penfolds to exit Geyser Peak

Tooth and Co. sold Penfolds Ltd., ending the winemaking joint venture between the California and Australia companies. Geyser Peak is located in Geyserville, CA. South Australian Brewing Holdings Ltd. bought Penfolds.

Bronco Wine gallops into Sonoma

Article Abstract:

Jug wine maker Bronco has acquired wine and brand names from Sonoma County vintner Grand Cru Vineyards. The bankrupt Grand Cru reportedly sold the concern for $1.3 million.
