Vintner Dick Pfeifle of Long Island, NY, has an annual party each October in which he invites his friends to hand harvest the five acres of his vineyard, which in 1995 produced 25.4 tons of grapes. He prefers to hand harvest and loves to throw the party, which had 200 attendees in 1995.
