Article Abstract:
The winner of the prestigious Prix de Rome award at only 23, the artist Nicolas Carone had began to do his first drawings from life, sketching horses in chalk on the cobblestones of the street in front of their home. After more than 20 years of teaching at a variety of prominent art schools, Carone started his own school, the International School of Art that is now called the International School of Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture.

John R. Bolton, US ambassador to the United Nations

John R. Bolton served all but one Republican government since 1966, distinguishing himself as an unusually intelligent, direct, and hardworking political appointee. Bolton, who was appointed as the US Ambassador to the United Nations in August 2005, holds the firm belief that the US must embrace a strong, proactive approach to self-defense and a refusal to shrink from military engagement.
