Jennifer Arnold, publisher of the children's philatelic magazine, The Stamp Zone, received an unrestricted $1,000 grant from the Collectors Club of Chicago. Other philatelic journals discussed include the France & Colonies Philatelist, The China Clipper, Atalaya, Japanese Philately and Maximaphily.

New book studies Japanese occupation stamps of China

A book entitled, 'A Specialized Listing of the Japanese Occupation Stamps of China,' written by Jack G. Nielson and Ralph A Weil, is described as useful in an area of stamp collecting that is difficult. Other books discussed include an 11-vol German 'Reference Book on Forgery." priced at $220.

Snuggle up to a good philatelic book
