Challenge enough
Article Abstract:
Two faceting designs which are simple but challenging enough can be done by a beginner. The designs are Hilda's Hexagon and Beady's Box which are suitable for gemstones with a refractive index of 1.54 such as quartz. They were named after the designer's grandmothers.

Agate stones are ideal for making ornamental butterflies since it can be cut into thin slices. In making agate butterflies, one should give particular attention to the thinness and color of the wings to make it more beautiful and realistic.
