La Sabranenque is a nonprofit organization established by Simone and Henri Gignoux. The organization is devoted to rural architecture restoration. Vacationers all over the world stay in a French village for weeks and help rebuild the place through manual labor.

A house built in San Francisco, CA's Pacific Heights in 1908, was part of a rebuilding boom that followed the earthquake and fire. Its restoration and decoration is faithful to the era of fine craftsmanship in which it was built.
