Romance of the bat
Article Abstract:
It was in 1884 when Bud Hillerich finally talked his father into opening a wood working shop exclusively for the making of baseball bats. They registered the name 'Louisville Slugger' and today Hillerich and Bradsby still make wooden bats. The current value of many famous players' bats are included.
