IFD, Gear team up for casual dining line
Article Abstract:
International Furniture Designs teams up with Gear to come up with a line of coordinated casual dining furniture. The first phase of the program will include a correlated group of casual dining, occasional signature and accent items. There will also baker's racks, trunks and screens in addition to tables and chairs. The furniture will made of ash and hardwoods coming in three mix-and-match stain colors. The company hopes to launch the new collection at premarket in March 1999 and start shipping in spring 1999.

Beacon Hill adds Ralph Lauren collection

Beacon Hill has added the Ralph Lauren Home Collection to its furniture offerings. The collection will be launched in 10 of Beacon Hill's designer showrooms in October 1998. These showrooms are located in Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Dania/Fort Lauderdale, FL, New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, and Washington, DC. Buyers can avail of the complete furniture collection on special order, although only a part of the collection will be displayed at the showrooms.
