Stepping back into Elizabethan times

Article Abstract:

Thomas C. Williams Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth, are the proud owners of Ashcroft Hall, a Tudor manor house much like those the colonists left behind and most likely built during the reign of Elizabeth I. In 1969, Elizabeth opened the home to all as a private museum meant to show English major house life in the 16th and 17th centuries, that had a mixture of heritage garden rooms that served as an example of life in England at the time ships were sailing to Jamestown.
