Incidence and outcomes
Article Abstract:
A survey of 65 public and private employers in the United Kingdom shows an increase of management policies on sexual harassment, with twice as many as in 1992. Harassment cases have been reported at 54% of these organizations, including each economic sector, and 72% now have policies on it. Half of the cases were dealt with by formal warnings, while over a third resulted in a transfer of the offender. Procedures are detailed by economic sector.
