The fight for infection control

Article Abstract:

The UK recorded many cases of CA-MRSA of hospital-acquired infections and hence the NHS is taking measures to remedy the problem. It suggests that improved cleanliness of the hospital can lower the rates of infection and some principles like allocating sufficient resources to keep hospitals clean, recognizing the important work done by cleaning staff and assigning specific roles, responsibilities for cleaning should be followed to control the infection.

Holding the baby

Article Abstract:

Hazards that could be harmful to new and expectant mothers or their children include noise, vibration, handling chemicals, working at heights, biological agents and awkward spaces or workstations. Hence, employers can help protect pregnant employees by conducting risk assessments, granting a smoke-free environment and keeping them informed of all major decisions even when they are away on maternity leave.
