Cruise missiles: new threats, new thinking
Article Abstract:
Cruise missiles are fast becoming a major threat akin to that of ballistic missiles. The recent study 'Cruise Missiles; Precision and Countermeasures,' the authors have raised four important issues: the development of cruise missiles since Hitler's V-1s, effectiveness of US cruise missiles in the 1991 Persian Gulf war, the acquisition of cruise missiles by countries and their proliferation and the way US should respond to the proliferation of cruise missiles. There should be effective countermeasures to check the deployment of cruise missiles.

International cooperation: a "smart weapon" in the revolution in strategic affairs
Article Abstract:
The US has the capability to act unilaterally in military confrontations, but its military strategy underscores cooperation in coalition operations in the realization of its national goals and promotion of its interests. In this context, international cooperation is considered as a "smart weapon" in the field of international politics and strategy. The concept of coalition warfare stipulates that the US should coordinate with its allies in countering the newer technologies and weapons of the post-Cold War era.
