Guerrilleras in Latin America: Domestic and international roles
Article Abstract:
International guerrilla organizations oppose US imperialism, capitalist expansion and Western culture where as domestic guerrilla organization takes action against perceived forces of oppression within their own nation. Internationally oriented guerrilla groups assign limited gender roles to their female members, on the other hand domestic guerrilla groups encourages full and active participation of female members at all levels of guerrilla activity.
