South Asia's arms control process: Cricket diplomacy and the composite dialogue
Article Abstract:
The developments, particularly focusing on the recent discussions, important agreements, between India and Pakistan, from the end of 2003 are reviewed. It is noticed that the ability of the two countries, to talk politics and play cricket is highly significant, and it symbolizes the hope for the future.

Beyond the EU/NATO dichotomy: the beginnings of a European strategic culture

The European Union has swiftly moved to establish a Security and Defense Policy for its member states. To complete this process, the EU must develop a "strategic culture" that involves creating confidence levels and processes to deploy military forces as one option for legitimate policy maintenance.
