Varieties and crises of neoliberal globalization: Argentina, Turkey and the IMF
Article Abstract:
A study of the neoliberal globalization to understand the varieties and crises with respect to Argentina and Turkey and the key mistakes made by the IMF is presented. Countries facing a heavy dept burden do not enjoy the luxury that the more successful countries have and they should not assume that signing an agreement with the IMF will bail them out of a difficult process of fiscal discipline and economic reform.

Neoliberal globalisation, the nation-state and financial crises in the semi-periphery: a comparative analysis
Article Abstract:
The authors argue that economic globalization in the 1990s has undermined the redistributive capacities of nation-states in the developing world through the unrestricted flow of short-term capital. Establishment of an international system to prevent future financial crises is suggested.
