Article Abstract:
The first copy of the 'Sunday Herald' was released on Feb 7, 1999, in Scotland, UK, on the occasion of the reestablishment of the Scottish Parliament after almost three centuries of non-existence. The newspaper, which is part of the Scottish Media Group, will be the first national paper to be introduced in Scotland since the demise of the 'Sunday Scot' tabloid in 1991. The recent advances in newspaper production that has reduced capital requirement for publication is expected to contribute to the paper's success.
