Article Abstract:
The Clubs of London and Paris have played a critical role in resolving disputes between international creditors and debtors. The two clubs are not dedicated to social activities. Their members are international creditors. The goal of the clubs is to settle disputes according to the economic incentives of debtors and creditors. The clubs have helped developing countries establish themselves in world financial markets. Any mediators negotiating between debtors and creditors can learn from the strategies of the clubs.

The Iraq Claims Tribunal: an overview of the U.N. Compensation Commission
Article Abstract:
The United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC), the one forum available for resolving international commercial disputes, including those arising out of the the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, is discussed. The UNCC decisions will remain important to future international trade and the establishment of future tribunals in business disputes arising out of public international conflicts.
