Racial health divide: series focuses on deadly difference
Article Abstract:
Issues related to the gap between African Americans and white Americans in the standard of health care, and the propensity for African Americans to die sooner than whites from the same disease are examined, focusing on the results of an investigative story by two reporters from the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Topics include response of public health officials to the story and investigation into the amount of homicides against African American women.

Problems faced by the blacks are mentioned after conducting a survey on the treatment of blacks as compared to African-American whites. The district attorney called the jury commissioners and demanded for a plan to fix the problem.
