Akira's allure

Japanese fashion designer Akira Isogawa is based in Australia, where he was voted "best new designer" in 1996. He has very traditional parents and moved to Sydney when he was 21 years old. Isogawa started designing clothes once he left Japan because he was not able to buy the clothes he wanted. He does not design for a certain age group or body shape but for women who have a particular philosophy.

He is winning the support of the public, but many wonder whether depression caused his failures, or his inability to make rulings caused him to develop depression.

Australian singer, actor, and cabaret performer David Campbell in Jun 1998 found out he is the son of Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes. He was told by his adoptive mother that she is his grandmother, and his sister Kim is his real mother. He also found out that his grandfather, Jim Swan, was a champion featherweight boxer in Australia.
