John and Shelagh Greensides began holding prayer vigils on their property in Marmora, Ontario, in 1991, after visiting a sacred spot in Bosnia. Since that time, many have reported seeing visions of the Blessed Virgin on their property. The town has become a mecca for the Catholics.

Coming to a sky near you: Hale-Bopp puts on a show
Article Abstract:
Amateur astronomer Thomas Bobb and professional astronomer Alan Hale independently discovered Comet Hale-Bopp on the same July 1995 night. The comet is expected to put on a spectacular show in late Mar and early Apr 1997 due to its enormous size and spectacular tail.

Richard Weber, Mikhail Malakhov and Robert Mantell planned a 1,500-kilometer trip to the North Pole. Mantell returned after 40 days. Weber and Malakhov turned back after 90 days, after coming within 25 kilometers of the Pole.
