Consultant denies withholding Ford/Firestone accident data
Article Abstract:
Sean Kane, a safety consultant working for Strategic Safety, denied allegations that he and lawyers hired by Ford Explorer crash victims withheld information from the government. The allegations, contained in a front-page article published by the New York Times, claimed Kane and a group of personal-injuries opted not to file safety complaints that might have forced the government to look earlier at failures in Firestone tires on Ford Explorers.
