Article Abstract:
Women's science groups gathered more than 6,000 signatures in May, 2005 on a letter addressed to senators Ron Wyden and George Allen asking the Congress to conduct an inquiry investigating the continuous under-representation of women in science and engineering. Carol Muller, CEO of Mentornet and one of the organizers of the signature drives informed that though congressional committees and commissions regret the low number of women in science careers, the action to be taken is delayed.

Among many cases one of the case was of a famous novelist Goldsmith who died following a chin tuck. The New York City medical examiner concluded that Goldsmith's death resulted from anesthesia.
