HONG KONG: TELECOM DIRECTORIES EXPECTS GROWTH

Telecom Directories which provides the Yellow Pages and white pages phone directories in Hong Kong reported a 15% growth in revenue to HK$ 350mn in 2000. The company expects its online advertising revenue to grow 70% to HK$ 85mn in 2001. It is not sure whether Telecom Directories will merge with ChinaBIG of China at this stage. In September 2000, Pacific Century CyberWorks purchased a 37.65% stake in Telecom Directories for HK$ 200mn.
