Goya's work reflects the modern sensibility in its preoccupation with violence and corruption. Yet, his morality is of a different period and it is important to see his work in the Spanish context. Viewers may miss the theme of redemption through suffering if they forget Goya's context. The Goya exhibits in Melbourne and Sydney give a chance for viewers to see his etchings.

The popularity of ancient Egypt is unlike any other time in history. People from different backgrounds, cultures, and religions are interested and would spend thousands to collect the artifacts. Perhaps these artifacts reveal the evidence about the biblical texts. Its presence influenced later civilizations of Greece and Rome and gave them the knowledge of an exotic past.
