Portable Hewlett-Packard scanner comes with no cables attached
Article Abstract:
Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Ltd launched a new scanning device, called CapShare 910, that allows easier and faster scanning interfaces. The CapShare, which is about the size of a portable CD-player, comes with a built-in scanning software that automatically reconstructs scanned data into a single image. The user has only to sweep the unit over a page to electronically capture the text data desired. The unit runs in AA alkaline batteries and rechargeable batteries that come along with it.

Manufacturers hope to find bright future in your palm
Article Abstract:
Computer manufacturers are introducing models not quite as big as notebook computers but also not quite as small as hand-held data devices. This still unnamed category may appeal to users who do not have the use for all the features and functionality offered by notebook computers. These new computers typically do not have a hard drive and run on Windows CE rather than Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
