Wilderness symphonies: the creator of Solitudes heeds the call of nature

Gibson, 75, records bird and wildlife sounds on film and audio sound tracks, and he founded the Solitudes label 16 years ago. He was recently given a special award by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. He traces his love of nature to his summer camp experiences.
