New rules for federal checks
Article Abstract:
The new rules Electronic Funds Transfer rules (EFT-99) go into effect on January 1, 1999. Recipients of government checks may receive funds via direct deposit. They, also, may sign up for the new Electronic Transfer Account (ETA) that will be created in late 1999.
