Ethical standards for business lobbying: some practical suggestions

Article Abstract:

A dialogue on ethical lobbying practices can be effective in a business environment if ethical standards are translated in a language that businesspeople can speak with ease. In discussing business lobbying, it is important to emphasize that corporate political involvement can be a socially responsible activity when restrained by ethical standards. Eight standards for ethical business lobbying are recommended with examples of their applications.
