Are children and parents substitutes or complements in the family labor supply decision in Bangladesh?
Article Abstract:
Regression analysis is done to examine whether children are employed in labor work because of poverty in family or because it is a socially acceptable norm to work along with parents. Child labor in Bangladesh is taken up as case study.
