"Ich schreibe vor allem gegen, nicht fur etwas." Ein Interview mit Marlene Streeruwitz, Braunerhof, 15. Januar 1997
Article Abstract:
Marlene Streeruwitz, the popular Austrian dramatist and author, responds to issues of post-modernism, utopia in the theater, emotion versus analysis, and humor as style element. Streeruwitz also explains her use of recurring key figures and artificial realism, such as Barbie dolls. The author insists she writes mainly against certain audiences rather than for them.
