For the US, war now has a face: the lost patrol of B Troop
Article Abstract:
Three soldiers from B Troop, 1st Squadron of the 4th Cavalry Regiment have been captured on the border between Macedonia and Kosovo, Yugoslavia, by Serbian forces while on a daytime reconnaissance exercise. This could prove to be a significant development as Nato begins to come to terms with the fact that its military action against Serbia is not going to plan. Yugoslav news agency Tanjug has stated that the three soldiers will be tried under military law.

Kosovars fear cull of the young men
Article Abstract:
There is growing evidence that ethnic Albanian men in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, have been rounded up and taken away by Serb forces. Very few adult males have successfully crossed over the border into Macedonia or Albania, and it is thought that at least 100,000 men are missing. Refugees from Kosovo have indicated that there are a number of mass graves containing young men. It is also reported that Kosovo women have been raped at checkpoints.
