Ill met by moonlight
Article Abstract:
The Federation of Badger Groups reports that there has been an increase in badger-baiting in the UK, despite several high-profile prosecutions and increased punishments. Some observers believe that badger-baiting has become more popular because badgers have been connected with the spread of tuberculosis in cattle, even though this link has not been substantiated. Some badger-baiters may even feel that they are helping farmers by reducing badger numbers.

Urban bliss, rural hell
Article Abstract:

Nothing, but nothing, comes between a weather observer and their Stevenson Screen

They supply vital detail about weather conditions across the country, enhancing the readings made from automatic stations and satellites.
