Let the farmers bleat. It is their own fault they are suffering
Article Abstract:
It is true that the UK's farmers are facing significant challenges. However, the farming lobby has been guilty of exaggerating these problems. Farmers have failed to respond to changing market conditions, and have relied too heavily on government subsidies to help them deal with surplus production of calves and sheep. It is now time to introduce much greater clarity into farming, shifting away from the focus on producing cheap food without considering the long-term implications.

Old, frail and sick - but still the leader of a vile regime
Article Abstract:
P.W. Botha, the most powerful of South Africa's Afrikaner leaders, was not the most brutal or murderous African leader ever, and was not guilty of financial corruption. However, he was extremely arrogant, and seemed completely indifferent to justice. It is important to avoid demonizing white South Africa, but nobody can remain unmoved in the face of Botha's lack of repentance. It is now time to ensure that he is revealed as a coward and a bully.
