Preaching to the faithful from an Italian translation

Article Abstract:

Dubliner Liam Brady, 36, played for Arsenal at 13 and won a Cup Final medal at 17. When his contract ended in 1980, the Italian team Juventus offered him 200,000 pounds sterling a year plus perks. Training involved a pre-season monastic retreat. At the end of the second season he was replaced. He went to Sampdoria as a midfield player, then played for Inter Milan. British footballers have more team spirit than Italians who play more skilfully. He returned home to play for West Ham and became manager of Celtic in 1991.

Andrew and his amazing catchy tunes

Article Abstract:

Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is enthusiastic about music and the Victorian age. His mother was a pianist and his father was director of the Royal College of Music. He got an Exhibition to Oxford University, England, on the strength of an exam on the Pre-Raphaelites, which he taught himself. He left after one term as he had met Tim Rice who wanted to write lyrics and Andrew wanted to write music for musicals. He took a short course at the RCM but composes instinctively, using broad melodies.
