Europe trades in its currency

The euro, which will take effect on Jan 1, 1999, is expected to affect businesses and travel in the continent. The transition from national currencies to a national currency will be gradual affecting electronic transactions first until the year 2002 when majority of European countries will use the euro.

Canned or frozen fruits and vegetables may carry as much or even more of the certain nutrients of fresh foods. Based on a study of the nutritive values of fresh, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables, the 'freshness' of fresh produce is doubtful after their exposure to variable weather conditions.

Regenerative biology studies the differences between tissue embryogenesis and wound repair and develop techniques to replace scarring with tissue regeneration. It may someday become possible to use multipotential stem cells for regeneration or to induce regeneration using dedifferentiation.
