Summer in the Stratosphere
Article Abstract:
Stratospheric polar summer has recently become a subject of increased scrutiny after years of study of wintertime ozone conditions over the Antarctic. A 1985 discovery found that ozone holes develop over the Antarctic in late winter and early spring. A well defined cyclical variations of average ozone concentrations in the polar stratosphere occur over the course of the year.

The right stuffings
Article Abstract:
Food becomes more intriguing and surprising depending upon the stuffings used and how they are prepared. Common stuffings like corn breads, sausages, and chestnuts along with side ingredients make food more inviting. A list of recipes complete with stuffings is provided.

Another man's meat
Article Abstract:
Genuine mountain men often carry little packed food and depend largely on the wilderness for sustenance. A discussion of some of the unusual food items eaten by mountain men is presented. These unusual foods include mountain lions, dogs and owls.
