A population-based study on motor performance and white matter lesions in older women
Article Abstract:
White matter lesions on a CT scan of the brain may cause impaired mobility in elderly people. Autopsy examinations of these lesions show they are areas of demyelination and a narrowing of the small arteries in the brain.
