Exercise to improve spinal flexibility and function for people with Parkinson's disease: a randomized, controlled trial
Article Abstract:
Physical functionality for Parkinson's disease patients can be improved through exercise intervention. Patients suffering from early and midstage Parkinson's experienced increased axial mobility, spinal flexibility and physical performance from a 10-week exercise course. Results were measured through axial rotation, timed supine to stand, and functional reach.
