Haloperidol prophylaxis for elderly hip-surgery patients at risk for delirium: a randomized placebo-controlled study
Article Abstract:
The effectiveness of haloperidol prophylaxis on post-operative delirium in aged hip-surgery patients prone to delirium is studied. A low-dose of haloperidol could not reduce post-operative delirium.
