Article Abstract:
The effects of ekistic environments on children have been studied. Results indicate that children would suffer an environment that has been disturbed by social and economic problems. Children are very sensitive to space and may become upset from the resulting disorder. Their security requirements would become critical in any future ekistic environment. The maintainance of stability at school and at home would present serious problems for child welfare authorities.
