Rapid assessment procedures: a review and critique
Article Abstract:
Rapid Assessment Procedures (RAP) is a type of rapid appraisal approach whose definition is presented in answer to an article written by James Beebe on the three basic rapid appraisal concepts. RAP is distinct from the traditional ethnography that are used to gather information on public health problems and their prevention. However, the short span of time spent for information gathering and the accuracy of data expected to be generated by the ethnographic method pose a challenge to RAP users.
