Technological dimensions of international cooperation and sustainable development
Article Abstract:
Development efforts and technological applications must be adequately managed so that the future of mankind will not be threatened. This realization has led to the formulation of the sustainable development concept. However, it appears that sustainable development restricts the growth of the technologically backward Southern hemisphere. Studies on technological interdependence and sustainable development show that the development of human resources is a vital step in ensuring global sustainable development.

Reengineering technology governance for Philippines 2000
Article Abstract:
A methodological framework designed to reengineer technological advancements that would allow the Philippine government to realize its vision of Philippines 2000 is presented. Philippine President Fidel Ramos cited the importance of technology in realizing a newly industrialized Philippines with more export gain in an information-intensive 21st century. The framework emphasizes on the governance of technological improvements that could enhance agro-industrial export potentials of the Philippines.
