BV, released its VeriStar Info, a global network that allows class information to be accessed by owners on-line. ABS, on the other hand, launched a Windows version of Safehull, allowing the fast access of all major Far East vessel types. DNV released a DNV VeriTrack that determines a vessel's maneuverability and RINA will produce a CD-ROM version of its rulebook.
