GABAergic specification in the basal forebrain is controlled by the LIM-hd factor Lhx7

A study on the role of LIM-hd factor Lhx7 in controlling neuronal specification in the basal forebrain in vertebrate embryos is presented. The evidence has been established in Xenopus.
