Business, science, art and the mindset for excellence

Article Abstract:

The growing need for performance improvements in all spheres is to be addressed, thus the development and refinement of continuous improvements tools is the main focus, the use of which meet with mixed results. It is stated that the effort is misdirected as it ignores in large part that their value is derived from the interaction of the tools and their users, which highlights the need for change in mindset for excellence.
