Article Abstract:

The study is directed at the leadership that is required of boards of directors and senior corporate executives to improve both corporate and board performance and the measures, systems and reporting that are necessary to support good governance. It discuses the voluntary actions that companies can take to improve board and corporate performance.

Improving sustainability performance: specifying, implementing and measuring key principles

Article Abstract:

Leading companies are paying more attention to sustainability principles as it is recognized as important for long-term corporate profitability. Nine principles of sustainability performance are identified and need to be clarified, explained, monitored and evaluated throughout the organization in order to reap the benefits.
