Perspectives on research in quality management

Article Abstract:

Quality management research approaches should be tailored to appropriately address project questions, design and justification. Methodologies include interpretivism, positivism and eclecticism. While interpretivism focuses on individual perception and positivism on objectivity, eclecticism stresses that no single paradigm can incorporate all parameters of research.

Quality measurement in the public sector: some perspectives from the service quality literature

Article Abstract:

Contracts are an important factor in the implementation of quality management practices, as they set expectations and goals. Contractual forms include formal contracts between public service organizations and the customer, informal contracts within and without organizations, and psychological contracts governing reciprocity and established relationships.
