Rebel bomber kills dozens in Colombo

Article Abstract:

A suicide bomber from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam was responsible for the deaths of at least 22 people and injuries to more than 50 when he set off his bomb in the Independence Memorial Hall on Aug 7, 1995. The act is the latest terrorist attack by rebels in Sri Lanka.

Store complex collapse kills hundreds

Article Abstract:

The Sampoong Department Store in Seoul, South Korea, collapsed on Jun 29, 1995, killing at least 458 and injuring 900. At least 154 may still trapped inside. Faulty construction practices were behind the collapse. Store owner Lee Joon was arrested for negligence.

Rebel with a cause: the Romantics' Jesus
