The death of JGL Investments owner Jack Liberman, who left behind a fortune estimated at A$750 million, is symbolic of the changing of generations that will profoundly effect the Australian economy. The generation of entrepreneurs that created the post-World War Two economy is passing, which will transfer a huge amount of capital onto their primarily Baby Boom generation heirs.

Recycled rubber hits the road to success

Article Abstract:

RRecycle Australia is utilizing an innovative process devised by US organic chemist Fred Stark to process scrap rubber. The end result is a product with improved properties at cost savings of as much as 30%. Tire retreads, conveyor belt parts and shoes can have improved traction, lower rolling resistance and better wet-skid resistance.
