A dynamic policy for grouping maintenance activities

Article Abstract:

Grouping is a tool that can be utilized by engineers to minimize system-dependent set-up costs incurred in conducting maintenance activities for technical systems. Costs are minimized since only one set-up is utilized in the execution of a group of activities. These can be achieved through the use of a general grouping approach, a method that uses long-term maintenance strategies to create a short-term maintenance plan.

Its solution tools allow people involved in the recycling to redo the analysis easily whenever data change and to maximize the transportation of the sand in a part of the network.
